We have also finalised the pre-conference workshops being held on Wednesday 1 September. The pre-conference workshops will focus on the following key areas – the National Policy Framework; Indigenous issues; immigrant, NESB and refugee issues; Older Australians; Youth; Domestic and Family Violence; Philanthropy; Research; and training local government employees liaison with the homeless . Further information on the pre-conference workshops is being posted online as it becomes available.

The preliminary program is now available on the website.

NOTE: this program is subject to change without notice.

Poster Presentations

Have you been unsuccessful getting your abstract selected? Have you thought about presenting a Poster display?

Posters often provide a unique way to highlight key research and promote new models and ways of doing things. They can be as dynamic as you wish and enable you to get your message across to a broad audience.

The Poster session is in the Exhibition Hall where we will have food breaks giving you maximum exposure.

Call 02 6162 0345 or email Beverley (Beverley Atkins) on how she can assist you with organising a poster or two!

Sponsorship

Homelessness Australia is pleased to announce Centrelink and the Federal Attorney-General’s Department have signed on as sponsors.

The continued support from all levels of Government is encouraging to Homelessness Australia, as we all work together to find solutions for ending homelessness.

Homelessness Australia would like to hear from Corporate or Community Organisations who would like to be involved with the Conference.

Should you wish to be involved as a sponsor, please contact Beverley Atkins.

Exhibition

Homelessness Australia is offering booths for hire for the first time this year. Traditionally booths have only been available to sponsors and Homelessness Australia’s three constituent organisations.

Booths are 3m x 3m and come with Velcro compatible walls, providing maximum space to display your information.

Exhibitions provide an ideal way to showcase your products or services to a wide audience.

Discounts are available for the Community Sector and double booths. Full details including floor plan and booking forms are available on the Conference website.
