Hunter Homeless Connect Day 2011

Hunter Homeless Connect day for 2011 was once again a huge success with close to 1000 participants attending. Service providers from organisations from all over the Hunter volunteered their time to provide a range of services and giveaways including, health checkups, massages, hair cuts, food, help with accommodation, activities, entertainment, manicures, pedicures, family support, free clothes, job opportunities and many more.

Several participants were surveyed on the day and a majority of the results showed that they would attend again and think that it is a useful day.
